Getting Along (For Now)

My children have had a very good night.   Not only have they not been rude or defiant or cranky or petty or selfish or any other childhood behaviors in that vein, but they've actively been playing together and having fun.

There is some game with Pokemon cards.  My daughter is so glad to be involved and my son is liking being the leader of the game since they're his cards.

They don't want to go to bed because they're still playing, but it's gotten too late to let them keep on.

The Big Boy Update:  My son is good about playing games with his sister in a way that doesn't require her to see.   He just does this as a matter of course and doesn't think anything about it's unusual.

The Tiny Girl Chronicles:  My daughter is so excited about her Pokemon cards in the game tonight.   They are all the same feeling pieces of paper, and yet her imagination takes her through and it doesn't matter that she can't see them.
