We were hopeful that it wouldn't be an issue, saying that we only wanted help with some things. The proposal had covered everything, including furniture selection. I can't blame them though, you don't get if you don't ask a lot of times.
They were lovely and completely understood. We will look more into what we need advice on and will get back to them when we know more about when the house will actually start being built.
The best fun though was showing them the 3D printing things. They thought it was so exciting. It's fun when someone is excited about what you love. I was able to send them home with 3D printed things for their children and nieces and nephews. That's a productive day, if you ask me. I love sharing the things we've printed.
The Big Boy Update: Did my son sneak downstairs and play on his computer after his father and I fell asleep before ten o'clock? We're not sure, but it looks like he did. He denies it completely. We're working on building trust with him. He needs to work on following the rules.
The Tiny Girl Chronicles: My daughter finished her Tundra biome diorama. The animals she put in there didn't color match properly like the polar bear was a brown plastic bear, but since she couldn't see the colors, it was a polar bear to her.
