A Whole Book

My daughter read a whole book today.  It might have been in part that she was grounded for not reading her book.   It might have been that the deadline for reading the book was today and she was still on volume one of five.   It might be because she has to start a project with a team or partner tomorrow and she hasn't even read the book yet.

For whatever reason, she spent a long while reading today.  The lubricant I gave her to roll on her fingers to keep them from getting sore has helped a good bit, she said.

The Big Boy Update:  No screens during the week, but my son convinced his father he wanted to do some 3D modeling in Tinkercad today and his father let him.  I came down later to find some nice things he'd designed.   He made a complete crown replete with detachable gems.   He's not asked me to print it yet but perhaps he will when he's done with it.

The Tiny Girl Chronicles:  My daughter came home today, got her Chromebook out, opened it up, logged in, asked us to be quiet so she could hear the VoiceOver talking and then found a window and navigated the complex process to get to her music class page and open the school choir signup form.   This, coming from a child who said she didn't know how to do anything and hated working with the computer not one week ago.
