It is confirmed.  At eleven. years of age, my daughter wears the same size shoe as I do as an adult.   I bought the six-and-a-half shoe because that's what she insisted fit, but I wasn't so sure they were the right size.  Today, she came home and said they were great and fit perfectly.  

I suppose I do wear a larger shoe size for running, so maybe my daughter still has a bit to go.  

The Big Boy Update:  My son had to put up his laundry tonight in preparation for the cleaners coming tomorrow.  He finished putting up the load.  When I came in to check his progress I discovered the PRIOR week's laundry sitting in a corner, not put up.   My son has excellent procrastination skills.
